Barnsgrove is a members clubhouse nestled in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. The vision behind Barnsgrove was to create a versatile, multifunctional space where members could both work and socialise in a comfortable, well-equipped environment. Barnsgrove needs to cater to a wide variety of needs, from hosting private meetings and social events to providing wellness and fitness facilities. This meant the building required a robust and flexible system to manage lighting, security, access, and audio across multiple spaces.
With members expecting a seamless experience and the Barnsgrove team needing an efficient way to manage the building’s operations, the challenge was to integrate advanced technologies that would simplify daily operations while maintaining an inviting and high-end atmosphere. The goal was to find a solution that would provide ease of use, adaptability, and reliability while allowing for future growth and customisation as the needs of the clubhouse evolved.

Loxone provided a fully integrated solution for Barnsgrove, automating important technologies like lighting, audio, access, security and EV charging to create a seamless, efficient experience for both members and staff.
Lighting adjusts automatically to suit the clubhouse’s various spaces, from bright office lighting to mood-enhancing scenes in the bar and restaurant. Preset scenes simplify control for meetings, events, and wellness sessions.
Audio ensures high-quality sound throughout, allowing centralised control over background music in the bar & restaurant, offices & meeting rooms or specialised audio for different areas, like the yoga studio, gym and treatment rooms
Access & Security integrated with PeopleVine, Loxone streamlines access control, enabling members to book and enter rooms securely. As a bonus easter egg, the reception staff have an iPad which displays the name of the member who has just entered the building to provide a personal greeting! The system’s intelligent security features provide real-time monitoring and alerts.
Loxone Wallbox provides a convenient and energy-efficient EV charging solution for members. Integrated into the clubhouse’s overall system, it ensures that electric vehicle charging is easily managed and monitored, offering a simple and sustainable service for members who drive electric cars.
By centralising these functions, Loxone has enhanced Barnsgrove’s efficiency, creating an intuitive environment where members can focus on their work and leisure.
